Welcome to my Homepage
During one of our PG seminars we have been told setting up a homepage would be a good idea.
Well here we go, after pondering around for ages and starting a blog I decided to get started.
I am a PG student at Strathclyde University in Glasgow and put some of
my (ethnographic) writing exercises as well as current research
interests online. The research interest side is still very small but
there are a lot of things in development which I am not able to share
yet.
Having taught English in a nursery for some time I developed some
material which I put up for download. I am now and then writing new
things, learning material or just little stories and poems, so keep an
eye out for updates.
The blog is aiming at undergraduate students. I did set it up when
my little sister started studying, thus bombarding me with questions.
We thought that she might not be the only fresher in the world with
these kind of questions and so I started posting strategies that proved
successful. Most favourite and cheap recipes, first aid out of
the kitchen cupboard and all kinds of necessary and unnecessary stuff
important in freshers life and beyond.
I
hope my page has some point at some point and the guy in the seminar
was right, if not I wish you fun anyway! Please bear in mind though
that most of the text is in draft state, therefore this space is a
natural habitat for language bugs.
